Hidimba Devi Temple

Hadimba Devi Temple, also know as Dhungiri Temple is one of the most important temples in manali, himachal pradesh. This temple of dedicated to goddess hadimba, the wife of Bhima (One of the pandavas of Epic Mahabharat). The temple is situtated in the middle of cedar forest called dhungiri van vihar. The structure is said to built in year 1553 and is built over a huge rock fixed in the ground and is considered to be the image of deity.


Solang Valley

Manu Temple is dedicated to Sage Manu, from which the name of the Place Manali is derived. The temple is located in old manali around 3 kilometers from the main market of manali. The temple is situated on banks of manalsu river which falls into River Beas. It is beleived that Sage Manu dwelt and meditated here and hence one of the most important tourist attraction in manali.


Tibetan Monastery

The Tibetan Monasteries of manali are rich in preserving the culture of the Tibetan people. The literature and the handicrafts of the people of Tibet are preserved in these monasteries. Village Vashisht is mentioned in the early Vedic Texts (Vedas) and Detailed in the Ramayana as the abode of one of the seven rishis(saptarishi) or founding fathers of the Vedic civilisation.
